Private Care Within Your Reach
Weiting graduated from the National University of Singapore with an Honours degree in Psychology and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree. She also holds a post-graduate Diploma in Holistic Counselling from the Executive Counselling and Training Academy (ECTA).
As a Clinical Psychologist, Weiting had stints with the public and private healthcare sectors, providing psychotherapy and psychometric assessment to children and teenagers. She is adaptive at connecting with youths, advocating for their autonomy and goals for therapy, while also working closely with the needs of parents/caregivers. She has experience working with youths suffering from mood fluctuations, relationship difficulties, academic stress, and behavioural issues.
Prior to furthering her postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology, Weiting was a Full-Time School Counsellor with the Ministry of Education. Based in a primary school, she supported at-risk students and their families, bridging the gap between student’s emotional needs and their academic commitments.
Weiting is competent with the multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She is most comfortable applying Schema Therapy as a foundation in understanding and working with emotional pain.
With a compassionate and nurturing approach, Weiting affirms clients of their strengths while guiding them to understand how psychological vulnerabilities can impact their mental health.
She believes that insight and change can only happen when there is a strong therapeutic alliance.
Weiting appreciates a simple life and routine, and lives in the moment with her family, books, movies, and jogs.
Weiting provides therapy in English and Mandarin.

Endoscopy is a medical procedure which provides a clear
picture of your oesophagus, stomach, duodenum and colon.
This allows the doctor to assess your gut health and diagnose
digestive conditions, as well as screen for gastrointestinal cancers.
Recent reports show a rise in early-onset cancer amongst younger adults, sometimes withoutvisible symptoms, and it is highly treatable when detected early.
