Private Care Within Your Reach
Shelly Anne Sherwood is a Principal Physiotherapist at OptiMove, based at TripleOne Somerset, and has over 20 years of clinical experience in neonatal and paediatric rehabilitation.
Shelly began her physiotherapy career in the early 2000s and has extensive experience across hospital and outpatient clinical settings. She spent 14 years at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), working within multidisciplinary neonatal and paediatric teams. She later held the role of Principal Physiotherapist and was the early intervention team lead and inpatient paediatric team lead before her departure. Her role encompassed clinical care, staff education, and service development, contributing to the delivery and advancement of neonatal and paediatric physiotherapy services.
She is a Certified Neonatal Therapist (CNT) accredited by the Neonatal Therapy Certification Board (USA) and is one of the few Certified Neonatal Therapists practising in Singapore. Shelly is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Neonatology at the University of Southampton, UK.
Her clinical approach is grounded in early intervention, family-integrated models of care, and close collaboration with caregivers. She places strong emphasis on education, empowerment, and partnership with families, recognising the vital role caregivers play in a child’s development, movement, and overall wellbeing.
At OptiMove, Shelly provides neonatal physiotherapy and paediatric rehabilitation services tailored to each child’s needs, working closely with families to support infants and children through critical stages of growth and development.
Shelly is fluent in English.

Endoscopy is a medical procedure which provides a clear
picture of your oesophagus, stomach, duodenum and colon.
This allows the doctor to assess your gut health and diagnose
digestive conditions, as well as screen for gastrointestinal cancers.
Recent reports show a rise in early-onset cancer amongst younger adults, sometimes withoutvisible symptoms, and it is highly treatable when detected early.
