He subsequently embarked on specialist paediatric training at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where he worked as a Specialist Trainee and Registrar from 2008 to 2016, gaining broad experience across acute paediatrics, emergency care, neonatal medicine and subspecialty services. In 2012, he attained his Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), reflecting his advanced training and commitment to paediatric standards of excellence. He is also an active member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, underscoring his dedication to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based paediatric care.

Dr Leo Deng Jin is an accredited Paediatrician in Singapore with more than 20 years of caring for children and families. He previously served at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), Singapore’s largest paediatric emergency department, where he managed acute paediatric emergencies. From 2017 to early 2026, Dr Leo Deng Jin practiced at Hillion Mall in Bukit Panjang, where he was known for his compassionate approach and meticulous paediatric care for families in the West.

Dr Leo manages a wide range of conditions, including acute childhood illnesses, infectious diseases, and minor trauma such as head injuries and wound management, while also caring for children with chronic issues like asthma, recurrent UTIs, allergies, and failure to thrive. He provides thorough newborn and infant care from jaundice monitoring to feeding difficulties and sleep concerns and offers childhood vaccinations, developmental assessments, and ongoing management of developmental delays.

Families who have experienced Dr Leo’s gentle, reassuring care can now look forward to seeing him again, this time at our new West clinic, where he will continue providing trusted paediatric care for babies, children, and adolescents.

Outside of work, Dr Leo enjoys pickleball, playing the piano, and tending to his plants. He is also a proud dog owner and loves spending time with his furry companion.

Early Detection Saves Lives

- Let’s Talk Gut Health

Endoscopy is a medical procedure which provides a clear
picture of your oesophagus, stomach, duodenum and colon.
This allows the doctor to assess your gut health and diagnose
digestive conditions, as well as screen for gastrointestinal cancers.

Recent reports show a rise in early-onset cancer amongst younger adults, sometimes withoutvisible symptoms, and it is highly treatable when detected early.
