Biography

Cindy is a seasoned physiotherapist with over 18 years of experience in sports, musculoskeletal injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation.

She began her career at Alexandra Hospital and later helped establish the outpatient and sports physiotherapy department at their satellite clinic, Jurong Medical Center. After a year in public service, she transitioned to private practice.

Before joining Lifescan Physio, Cindy served as a Senior Group Partner in one of Singapore’s largest physiotherapy and podiatry groups. In this role, she managed clinic operations, mentored new clinicians, and continued her clinical work.

Cindy has worked with competitive athletes, both locally and internationally, providing sports physiotherapy for various sports such as rugby, soccer, and netball. In 2010, she was the Physiotherapist-In-Charge for the Riverdance troupe during their Singapore tour.

Her interests include the prevention and management of sports injuries and spinal pains. Cindy embraces a holistic approach to health and stays updated on the latest physiotherapy developments. She is also an accredited SpineCor Physiotherapy treatment provider for scoliosis.

Aside from clinical work, Cindy was offered the post of Teaching Fellow following completion of her Master of Manual Therapy at The University of Western Australia, where she tutored post-graduate students undertaking the same programme.

In her free time, Cindy enjoys scuba diving, rock climbing, traveling, exploring new cultures, and meeting people from all walks of life.
