Job Responsibilities

The Clinic Assistant will play a crucial role in managing the reception area, attending to patients, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to doctors during consultations. The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manage the reception area, greeting patients, and handling phone calls professionally.
  • Attend to patients and perform front-desk duties including registration, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and managing billing.
  • Process insurance claims, handle Medisave transactions, and conduct regular stock-taking of medical supplies.
  • Update billing records accurately and reconcile daily collections.
  • Provide assistance to doctors during consultations, ensuring patients’ needs are met efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in a healthcare setting would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evening sessions and across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and basic computer skills.
